One of the many struggles military spouses face is having a career.
I knew when my husband and I married, that his career would take precedence over mine (as his paid the bills) and that was an agreement he and I both came to. With him always working late hours, consistently gone more than he was home and us picking up and moving every few years…it just made sense, especially since the kids were young.
