The Indoor Cat’s Spring Agenda

By Rachel Slack6mo

Your cat has a schedule. You’re just not important enough to know it. However, in the spring? Oh, it becomes very clear.

Daily Itinerary:

  • 6:00 AM: Scream at birds

  • 9:00 AM: Sit in sunbeam like a Renaissance painting

  • 1:00 PM: Knock something over (for enrichment)

  • 3:00 PM: Ignore the toy you bought

  • 2:00 AM: Olympic-level parkour

It’s balanced. It’s intentional, and well, it is chaos. Fueling this level of main character energy? Purina Pro Plan UTHF Adult Cat Chicken and Rice 22 lb bag, formulated for complete nutrition with a taste your cat will absolutely pretend they’re too good for…before eating it anyway.

There is a ton of Spring Enrichment things to do with your cat like open the window (screen secured, this is not their escape arc), rotate their toys so they feel “new”, or even place a box somewhere random and watch them choose it over everything else.

Your cat is not trying to be productive. They are trying to be iconic and they have succeeded. So, this is to all the cats who run the household…and know it.
