High above the valley floor, where the air is a little quieter and the vines feel just a little more reverent, sits Inn at Churon Winery, a place that looks like it was poured straight out of Bordeaux and left to rest beneath a Temecula sky.

It’s not trying to be trendy. It’s not asking for your attention, and that’s exactly why it gets it.
Pull into the circular drive and you’re met with stone arches, grand staircases, and that hushed feeling you get just before an orchestra starts. Yet the soundtrack here is softer...wind through grape leaves, a distant cork pop, and your own footsteps echoing off marble tile as you check into your suite, because it’s not just a winery.

It’s a bed & breakfast tucked inside a vineyard, and it feels like a love letter written in French ink.
The rooms are spacious and old-world romantic: soaking tubs, fireplaces, balconies with wrought-iron railings, and vineyard views that roll out like a watercolor. If you’re lucky enough to wake early (or smart enough to set an alarm), the sunrise here is something private. Soft. Almost sacred.
When golden hour rolls in? That’s robe time.
Open a bottle of their Estate Syrah, a dark, warm, and edged with smoke, and sip from your balcony as the light folds itself into the vines, or try the Tempranillo, which lingers like a favorite quote you can’t quite forget. Churon doesn’t bustle. It breathes. It’s perfect for anniversaries, reset weekends, or just the kind of retreat where your phone stays silent and your thoughts finally get a little room to stretch out.
Bring a journal, a film camera, and/or someone you don’t have to talk to when the silence gets soft. If you are staying there, then book anything on the top floor with a vineyard-facing balcony.
My Personal Sip Tip: Sip on the chilled Viognier in the morning sun. Then, the old Syrah after dusk and enjoy the moody, quiet, romantic day just like the end of a really good book.
