There isn’t just military’s discounts for families, but also there are even more military discounts offered to kids specifically during the month of April! Why? Because it is the also the Month of the Military Child. Children of military service members deserve to be celebrated all year round for everything that they go through with also being a part of a military family. Most of the time these kids will move place to place to new duties station every few years. Changing schools, becoming the new kid again, loosing and making new friends constantly, and creating a new routine. To brighten their month here are a few discounts offered to them:
It is no surprise that Disney offers discounted tickets all year round to military families, not just the kids. But you can take the day off with the family and enjoy a day full of memories and adventures. You can also find similar deals for Legoland and Universal Studios as well.

Remember when you were a little girl and you wanted an American Girl Doll? Well now you can get one for your child. American Girl offers a 15% off discount at all locations and you can find some other items at your NEX, AAFES, or MCX.

Take a weekend, or a full week, break away from home and visit a Jellystone Campground. Not only do they offer a discount for staying at the campground but they also have “Hero Weekends” that are filled with deals and specifically actives for the whole family.

A favorite of mine is to spend a rainy day at a movie theater. Take the kids to one of the 170 Blue Star Theatre locations and catch a new movie for free! And yes I did say FREE! Blue Star Theatres also have playhouses as well for the kids to enjoy!
