1. Go Shopping: Who doesn’t love a shopping trip? I’m sure your furry friend will love the chance to get out of the house and get some fresh air. Take your pet to the local pet store and purchase a new toy or maybe a cute costume. Purchasing a costume leads to our next date idea.

2. Pet Photo Shoot: Plan a fun photo shoot for your pup using valentine inspired props such as heart shaped sunglasses, roses, rose petals, or maybe even a cupid costume. Photo shoots can be done at home or in the backyard. You can be as creative as you like, and it doesn’t cost much money.

3. Make Valentine’s Pet Treats: All dogs love treats! Hop In the kitchen and make some valentine-inspired treats. You can also use molds in the shape of hearts or arrows. Here’s an easy recipe for treats:

Ingredients:

• 1 banana
• Strawberries
• 2 tbs of plain yogurt

Directions:

• Add ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
• Pour the mixture into molds and freeze until frozen.
• Pop out the treats and let your pooch enjoy them!
