Leftover Halloween Candy Cookies

Now that we have all survived the whirlwind of October and Halloween…what are we going to do with all that candy?!? I don’t know about your kiddos, but after a few days, the fun of the Halloween candy stash kinda wears off! This year, I decided to take some candy from each of my kids and use it as tribute for my new favorite Halloween tradition!

Ingredients:

Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a saucepan, melt your butter over medium heat (approx. 5 minutes). Stir occasionally, until brown specks start to appear. Remove from the heat, and let it cool.

    Tips:

    • While you are browning the butter, you will notice a nutty smell. This is totally normal!
    • We used sugar-free chocolate chips…I know it’s kinda ironic!
    • We prefer monk fruit sugar for our sugar substitute!
    • I did change my mixer attachment to the dough hook to prevent overmixing the dough!

My kids and I really enjoyed making these cookies! We were able to use up a good bit of Halloween candy and make a fun and yummy treat!
