Hot Chocolate Bombs: The DIY Your Family Is Going to LOVE
I’m about to drop a bomb…don’t worry I’m just referring to a hot chocolate bomb, I’m about to drop in my coffee (hello DIY mocha)!

I recently made homemade hot chocolate bombs with my kids and they were THE BOMB DOT COM. Ok, enough chat…let do this!
Ingredients:
- Mini Marshmallows
- Instant Hot Chocolate
- Chocolate Chips
- Round Silicone Molds
Directions:
- Melt chocolate
- Grease silicon molds
- Once the chocolate is melted, coat the molds with the melted chocolate
- Put chocolate molds in freezer for 15-20 minutes
- Pop molds out
- Take a warm plate or bowl and place top sides of mold directly on to plate to melt and even out the sides
- Even out the sides, pour hot chocolate mix in one side and marshmallows in the other and fuse together…you may need some melted chocolate to glue the sides together.
- Once fused together, its time grab your mug, drop a bomb into it, pour warm milk over it,
- and ENJOY!
Notes:
- I made a makeshift double boiler, but you could microwave the chocolate too.
- My molds were a little big but I made them work!
My kids loved this fun cocoa bomb and I loved my DIY mocha! I hope you make some for your family too! So, snuggle up and grab a cup!
