Cozy Cocoa Creations: Festive Recipes for You & Your Pup

When the temperature drops, there’s no better way to warm up than with a cup of hot cocoa. Whether you prefer classic, spiked, or even dog-safe, these recipes are sure to bring cheer to your winter days.
Classic Hot Cocoa
Rich, creamy, and so simple to make!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Whipped Cream (optional)
- Marshmallows (optional)
Instructions:
- Whisk cocoa powder, sugar, and salt in a saucepan with a splash of milk to form a paste.
- Slowly add the rest of the milk, stirring until smooth.
- Heat over medium until hot.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla
- Pour into your favorite mug.
- Top with whipped cream or marshmallows (optional).
Dog-Safe Cocoa
Your pup deserves a cozy treat too!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup coconut or oat milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp carob powder (a safe chocolate alternative)
- 1/2 tsp honey (optional)
Instructions:
- Mix carob powder and water into a paste.
- Gradually whisk in milk.
- Heat gently.
- Cool before serving in a small dog bowl.
