Grab Your Peeps and Get Ready to Race!

Easter is such a fun time! You will find lots of candy options in store, but I enjoy making more creative goodies for the kids to enjoy! There will be no shortage of Peeps, so grab some off the shelf in your favorite color and get ready to have a little fun. These easy, no-bake Twinkie Bunny Cars are the perfect Easter or Spring dessert! They only require a handful of ingredients, and they are so tasty. In fact, they are almost too cute to eat!

Twinkie Bunny Cars

Prep Time: 5 mins  Cook Time: 10 mins  Total Time: 15 mins  Servings: 1 Twinkie Bunny Car

Ingredients:

  • 1 Twinkie
  • 1 Peep
  • 1 Tube Frosting
  • 4 Mini Oreos
  • 1 Pretzel twist

Directions:

  1. Take your knife and carefully cut a 1-inch notch in the center of the top of the Twinkie.
***Make sure not to cut it all the way through, or you will cut the Twinkie in half.***
  2. Place a dab of frosting to secure the Peep in place.
  3. Place a dab of frosting on the pretzel to secure the steering wheel.
  4. Place a dab of frosting on the back of each Oreo to secure the wheels.
  5. Allow at least 5 minutes for the frosting to dry, secure in place and enjoy!

Notes:

  • I used chocolate covered pretzels for my Twinkie Bunny Cars, but you could use regular pretzels instead!

We hope you have a HOPPY Easter holiday and don’t forget to pick up all the supplies you need to make this treat at your local Commissary.
