Whether you plan on staying home this summer or traveling somewhere foreign and exotic, these trending books have a little something for everyone! While I am not going to be doing anything exotic this summer except moving across the country with four kids (one of which will be a newborn), two dogs, two cats, and three horses. Some may say crazy, but I like to call it exotic because that sounds more fun and vacation-like. So, I need all the summer reads to help me escape my upcoming reality.

• On a Flight To Sydney by J.A. Forde
  • In book one of the Love Along the Way Series, we follow Joss and Wes as their worlds collide! In this “just friends” to lovers story, we will see how much baggage two people are willing to overcome to find love! Set in beautiful Sydney you’ll experience the beaches with sand and surfing! I have mentioned this book before because it is so perfect for a summer escape! Also, be on the lookout for book 2, On The Slopes of Tahoe, which will debuted on February 28, 2025! Also, J.A. • For The Show (All For Love Book 2) by Katie Van Brunt
  • In part two of this steamy duet, we find Millie and Ezra forced into a fake marriage to appease his difficult father! Throw in some major chemistry, one hotel room, and a trip to Hawaii and dare I say we have the perfect summer sizzler. This book is sure to give you the perfect escape from whatever you have going on this summer. Also, make sure to check out For the Plot (All For Love Book 1), which is another great escape because it is set on a Greek Island!
• Variation by Rebecca Yarros
  • Allie, an elite ballerina, returns home to heal from an injury at her summer home in Cape Cod. While there, she is reunited with Hudson Ellis, a Coast Guard rescue swimmer. As Allie heals, she may find more than just a second chance at dancing with her rekindled relationship with Hudson. Cape Cod and boats rescues…if this doesn’t create the perfect summer read, then I don’t know what will!?!
• The Secrets and Lies of Military Wives by Jenna Lumb
  • Okay, this one is a bit different, but nothing says sizzling summer like some hot tea…Am I right?!?! Best of all, these are all true stories! This is a great way to escape the craziness that is likely your summer by reading about someone else’s drama! This one has some juicy relationship drama and backstabbing friendships that is sure to distract you from even your worst PCS.
