Berry Good Treats: DIY Blueberry Snacks Your Dog Will Love!

Nothing says summer quite like a handful of sweet, juicy blueberries—unless you’re a dog, and then it’s even better when they come frozen, chewy, or baked into a tail-wagging treat! Blueberries are a superfood for humans and dogs. They’re full of antioxidants, fiber, and vitamin C—plus, they’re naturally low in calories and totally pup-approved. Let’s get a little messy in the kitchen and whip up some easy blueberry treats that’ll have your dog drooling (like mine) in no time!

Frozen Blueberry Yogurt Bites
Ingredients:
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (no sugar or xylitol!)
- ½ cup fresh blueberries
Directions:
- Mash the blueberries slightly
- Mix with yogurt
- Spoon into silicone molds
- Freeze for 2-3 hours
- Serve chilled
Blueberry Banana Bites
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- ½ cup oats
- ¼ cup blueberries
Directions:
- Mash banana
- Stir in oats and blueberries
- Drop spoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet
- Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes until firm
- Cool before serving
Peanut Butter & Blueberry Pupsicles
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons dog-safe peanut butter
- ½ cup blueberries
- ½ cup water
Directions:
- Blend all ingredients until smooth
- Pour into silicone molds
- Freeze overnight
