Allegiant Air runs its military program under the name Allegiant Honors. Rather than a percentage off fares, the Allegiant military discount is a package of waived fees: up to two free checked bags (each under 99 pounds), no oversized-baggage charges, a free carry-on bag and personal item, a free in-cabin pet, and priority boarding on domestic flights.
Eligibility is broad - active-duty members of every branch including Space Force and Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserves, veterans (a veteran ID card is accepted), service academy members, and Public Health Service and NOAA Commissioned Corps. Eligible family members traveling on the same reservation share the benefits.
Redemption happens in person: show valid military identification at the airport and an Allegiant agent adds the free services to your reservation. Active and reserve members traveling on official orders also have change and cancellation fees waived, and travelers who already paid for qualifying services can contact Customer Care for a credit after verification. This is a standing, year-round program.
