Galentines Day After Valentines Day

Posted on February 14, 2022 by Rachel Slack

I personally have always seen Valentine’s Day as just another day, but I know there are many people who are not spending Valentine’s Day, but wish they could, with their significant other due to the military life. This year, in 2022, Valentine’s Day is falling on the day right after the super bowl making it a very busy weekend already! Instead of hosting and/or attending super bowl parties and then trying to also celebrate Valentine’s Day with your girls, whose spouses are also gone, celebrate it this following weekend, or even week, instead. It will be much less stressful and probably more enjoyable too. If you need a few ideas of what to do we have you covered!

Who doesn’t love a good movie? Movie Night in with the Girls is a perfect idea!

For all the wine and chocolate lovers out there – Wine and Chocolate Night with a Wine Swap

Did someone say food? I am definitely a foodie and I love brunching! – Galentines Brunch

I haven’t played board games in a long time, but enjoy them so much! Game Night with the girls is a great way to enjoy the evening in!

Stiletto Dance Class/Fitness Class. Any dancers out there? This will be such a fun night out! I used to teach group classes for girls night out and bachelorette parties and they were always so much fun!

Slumber Party/Night Getaway. Are you close to your favorite hotel? Or do you and your girls want to do a quick trip? Road trips never disappoint anyone.

Going back to being a foodie, Bake Night would be a blast. The girls can bake their hearts away making brownies, cookies, chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels while also munching on them too!
