How My Weight Loss Journey with Trinity Meds Is Going So Far

I wanted to share an honest update on how things have been going since starting my weight loss shots. Before I made the decision to try a GLP-1/GIP, I truly felt like I had tried everything the natural way. I was cutting calories, trying intermittent fasting, working out, drinking more water, and doing what I thought I was supposed to do. The frustrating part was that nothing was really happening. As a mom of five, a military spouse, and a working woman who is always on the go, I knew my body had been through a lot. I also healed from a major surgery last year, so I had to give myself grace while also being honest about wanting to feel better in my body again. Starting this journey was not about looking for an easy way out. It was about finding support after feeling stuck for a long time.

I have now been on the shot for eight weeks, and the first thing I noticed in the beginning was the appetite suppression. That made a big difference for me because it helped curb the snacking and hunger pains I was used to dealing with throughout the day. I did not realize how often I was reaching for little snacks or eating just because I felt hungry, tired, or busy until that urge started to calm down. Since then, my eating habits have changed significantly.

I am not counting every single calorie down to the number, but I am much more conscious about how much I am putting on my plate. I have also been trying to stay away from fried foods because I noticed they do not sit well with me anymore. One of the side effects I have experienced is nausea, especially the day after eating fried foods, so that has made me pay closer attention to what my body is telling me. My energy has been consistent, which I am thankful for. My physician recommended adding a B12 vitamin to my routine, and I feel like that has helped me stay balanced while adjusting to the medication. This journey is not just about weight loss. It is about how I feel overall, physically, mentally, and even emotionally.

What has surprised me the most is how easy it has been to stay consistent. My life is fast-paced, and I am usually juggling work, motherhood, family, and everything in between. Taking the shot once a week has been simple for me. I set a reminder in my calendar and take it on the same morning each week. The whole thing takes less than three minutes, so I feel like I have that routine down.

Along with the shot, I am still doing my part. I try to drink at least half a gallon of water a day, and I have started incorporating protein shakes in the morning on the days I work out. I also work out three to five times a week, and overall, I have been making better lifestyle choices to help get my body back where I want it to be. After almost two months, I am down nearly 20 pounds, and I can honestly say the results have been incredible. Not just because of the number on the scale, but because of how I feel. I feel lighter, more confident, more in control, and better physically and mentally than I have felt in a long time.

I know that GLP-1/GIP’s are a tool, not a magic fix. That is why I plan to keep doing my part by maintaining a healthier lifestyle, moving my body, staying hydrated, eating better, and listening to what my body needs. This process has reminded me that sometimes support does not mean you failed. Sometimes it means you finally found something that works with your life instead of against it.

I am grateful for Trinity Meds for providing a flexible, low-cost weight loss option that fits into my fast-paced lifestyle. Being able to receive it at my doorstep has made the process even easier for me as a busy mom, military spouse, and working woman. This journey is still ongoing, but right now I feel proud, encouraged, and excited to keep showing up for myself.
