Did you know active-duty military veterans can enjoy National Parks for FREE? I didn’t either until we lived in Virginia, and I’m so glad we found out because some of our favorite outings: Assateague, Great Falls, and The Shenandoah were all part of the National Parks and were completely free! 

All you need to do is sign up for the National Park Military Pass OR visit a local National Park and get one there!
