Every morning, like clockwork, Luna decides it’s time for me to wake up. She hops onto my chest, meowing as if I’ve forgotten her existence (even though she ate just hours ago). I roll out of bed, head to the kitchen, and grab her favorite food—Purina Cat Chow. Thanks to the commissary on base, I’m always stocked up. One quick scoop, and her morning drama ends with happy purring as she devours her breakfast.  

While she eats, I sip my coffee and tackle my to-do list for the day.
